Write on Sports, which works with children in economically disadvantaged neighborhoods and homes, adds its voice to the urgent need for change.
Shannon Schmitt, WoS Community Engagement Director, and Olumide Ologundudu, an alumnus of WoS programs and a teaching intern, have joined together to express their sentiments in reflection of all of us at Write on Sports.
The death of George Floyd, and subsequent tragic events, has reiterated the call to action to demand change and amplify the voices of the oppressed.
Write on Sports was founded on the principals of education, opportunity, and equality.
