Writing is a skill that can shape a life, and Steve Krasner is proof. The twenty-plus years he spent working as a Boston Red Sox beat writer for the Providence Journal took him to the front lines of coveted sporting events while granting him access to high-profile interviews and hard to come by experiences.
Proof that a kid with a love of sports doesn’t have to be a number one draft pick to compete at the highest level of the game; he just has to know how to draft a well-written article to share the story.
“Writing can take you places, and I’m the perfect example of that,” Krasner said. “I went to World Series and Super Bowls because I could write.”
