Write on Sports Adds Three to Board; Names Advisory Council Chair

Write on Sports, Inc., has added three directors, Dev Gandhi, PJ Johnson and Louis LaSalle to its board, bringing the total number of WoS directors to 11.

Gandhi is the International Business Manager/COO for the International Capital Market Groups at Mitsubishi UFG (MUFG). He is also president of the Yale Club of New York, the largest university-affiliated club in the world.

Johnson is the Managing Partner at RiversideStrategic, a PR firm which specializes in the financial industry. Prior to founding RiversideStrategic, he established and directed corporate communications in the Americas for Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (USA), Inc. and Nomura.

LaSalle is Senior Vice President, Corporate External Affairs for RWJBarnabas Health, where he is instrumental in developing strategic corporate alliances for community health and wellness.

In other board action, Doug Lavanture was appointed Chair of the Advisory Council. Lavanture is Director of Business Operations for Bloomberg LP’s Global Data department. Previously he worked as a news desk editor and producer for Bloomberg Television. He serves as president of the Badminton Club of New York, which was founded in 1878.

Write on Sports, founded by Byron Yake, a former Associated Press sports editor and executive, is celebrating its 12th anniversary this year and conducted 10 camps this summer.
