Eligible students are rising 7th and 8th graders.

Montclair State University (MSU) serves as a central location for hosting multiple WoS Summer sports writing camp programs. Specifically, the MSU location has partnered with public and private schools in the greater North Jersey area. This location has limited space per session.

Session One: July 10-21, 2023
Session Two: July 24-August 4, 2023

Eligibility: Rising 7-8 graders

Leadership

Andy Beutel

Education Program Director

Andy Beutel has been working with Write on Sports since 2007. As the Assistant Program Director of WoS, he helps update and adapt the curriculum as well as provide consultation and feedback for after-school programs and affiliates. He is also the Lead Teacher for the two summer camps held at Montclair State University. He is a veteran middle school social studies teacher who has written and presented about curriculum and pedagogy.
