Write on Sports Denver

Metropolitan State University of Denver

A Community Effort

Write on Sports Denver camps continue to inspire campers to improve their writing skills with an angle towards sports journalism.  Our campers move forward with skills that will last a lifetime.  Students improve their communication, critical thinking, self-esteem and readiness for high school, college and being the future workforce.  Numerous guest panels with local Denver journalists and sports figures, a session on podcasting in the MSU state of the art podcast facility, sports video creation and editing, and a field trip to a Rockies game at Coors Field are highlights of our two week camp.  Held on campus at MSU Denver, students are able to imagine and build their future.
